Helping Neurodivergent Individuals Build Confidence, Independence & Meaningful Lives
Welcome to Embrace Neurodiversity!
I'm Dr. Nycole Kauk, a Licensed Psychologist, Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP), and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). I founded Embrace Neurodiversity to provide practical, individualized support for teens, college students, adults, families, and organizations seeking guidance related to autism, ADHD, executive functioning, transition planning, and neurodivergent development.
My goal is simple: to help individuals better understand themselves, build on their strengths, develop meaningful skills, and create pathways toward greater independence and success.

My Approach
Every person brings a unique combination of strengths, challenges, experiences, and goals. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or diagnoses, I work collaboratively with clients to understand the whole person and identify practical strategies that can improve everyday functioning and quality of life.
My approach is:
- Strengths-based
- Evidence-based
- Practical and solution-focused
- Individualized to each person's goals
- Grounded in respect, collaboration, and self-determination
Whether we're working on emotional regulation, executive functioning, relationships, employment goals, educational planning, or self-understanding, my focus is on helping clients develop skills that translate into meaningful real-world outcomes.

Why Embrace Neurodiversity?
The name Embrace Neurodiversity reflects a simple belief: people do not need to become someone else to lead successful, meaningful lives. Many neurodivergent individuals spend years feeling misunderstood or believing they need to hide who they are in order to fit expectations that don't align with how they think, learn, communicate, or experience the world. While learning new skills and strategies can be valuable, those skills should build upon a person's strengths rather than ask them to abandon their authentic self.
At Embrace Neurodiversity, our goal is not to change who someone is. Instead, we help individuals better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, navigate challenges, and develop practical skills that support greater independence, confidence, and well-being. Support should be individualized, evidence-based, and focused on helping each person thrive according to their own values, goals, and definition of success.
